My little boy loved his birthday cake. My daughter loves her fake tatoo from the Maritime Museum. And I have a new home that I love. A flat with a lovely view.

Den lilla pojken har fyllt 3. Den lite större flickan har haft avslutning på "6års". Klänning och tatuering och vacker sång. En tår i ögat blev det på en blödig mor....
Jag har fått en ny lägenhet. Jag älskar den och utsikten lika så. Jag har haft sån tur, jag är så himla tacksam.

I'm having a cold so this is a very quiet Saturday. Eating sweet oranges and tasty sourdough bread. The book in the last picture is one of my favorite children's book. It is so beautiful and poetic. The title is
"The Sand Wolf" in english.

I miss spring so much when I see this photo from last year. The name of this flower in swedish is Vitsippa and in english you call them Wood Anemone I think. I like them so much and they really mean spring to me. Do Wood Anemones grow where you live to?

The Pond

It was very cold in Gothenburg yesterday. I took the children to a small frozen pond in Slottskogen (a big park near our flat). It was beautiful but we couldn't stay that long because we were freezing to much. But we did drink hot chocolate and we did pretend we had skates on.

This is how it looked like from my balcony this morning. It was a very beautiful blue light. I almost live in the city center but at the back of the house where I live there is a "nature spot". It is not a big park or anything like that, it is just a little "secret" spot that many people haven't noticed.

My mother gave me this green pot a while ago. She always looks for things at fleemarkets for me, and she knows what I like.

Last week I was taged by Famapa (Thank you) to tell 7 random facts about me:

1. I haven't eaten meat for the last 20 years.

2. I drink VERY much tea, mostly green.

3. I am afraid of getting old.

4. I love to go to a cinema in the afternoon and watch a film all by myself ( but I haven't done this in a very long time).

5. I want to take up Yoga again.

6. I am very good at remebering faces.

7. In winter time Im always freezing.

Not Quite is a lovely place that you have to visit when in Dalsland.
It used to be a paper mill, but these days it's an art and craft collective. Not Quite has a great café and a shop full of beautiful items (including my jewellery). You can also watch excellent exhibitions here.
